This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use the CoinHix mobile application ("App") and our website at https://coinhix.com ("Website"), collectively referred to as the "Services".
Please read this policy carefully before using our Services. By downloading or accessing the Services, you confirm that you have read and agreed to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not use our Services.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information From Third-Party Sign-In
CoinHix does not offer independent account registration. You may only access the App by signing in through Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. When you do so, we receive only the basic profile information authorized by you through those platforms, which may include:
- A unique user identifier issued by Apple or Google
- Your email address (if you choose to share it)
- Your display name (if provided by the platform)
We do not receive your Apple or Google account password. Your use of Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google is also subject to Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy respectively.
1.2 Device Information
We automatically collect certain technical information from your device, including:
- Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers
- Mobile network information and browser type
- Internet Protocol (IP) address and Internet Service Provider (ISP)
- Referring and exit pages, date and time stamps, and click data
1.3 Usage Information
We collect data about how you interact with our Services, including:
- Features accessed, time spent in the App, and interaction patterns
- Pages visited on our Website and navigation behavior
- Coin scanning activity and search history within the App
1.4 Camera and Photo Library Access
The CoinHix App requires access to your device's camera and photo library solely for purposes directly related to the App's core functionality, which includes:
- Capturing images of coins for AI-powered identification, valuation, and grading
- Allowing you to upload existing coin images from your photo library
- Saving analysis results and scan history to your device
We do not use your camera or photos for any other purpose. Camera and photo access is only activated when you initiate a coin scan. We do not access your photo library beyond the images you explicitly select.
1.5 Storage Access
The App requires storage access to:
- Store app data, user preferences, and settings
- Cache coin data and analysis results for faster performance
- Save images and scan reports locally on your device
1.6 Log Files
Our Website and App make use of log files. Log data may include IP addresses, browser type, ISP, pages visited, date and time of access, and referring URLs. This information is used for analytics, performance monitoring, and security purposes and is not linked to personally identifiable information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver, operate, and maintain the Services
- Process coin identification, valuation, and grading requests
- Personalize and improve your experience within the App and Website

CoinHix.com uses cookies to enhance your browsing experience. Cookies are small files stored on your device that help us remember your preferences and customize content. 6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy or as required by law. The following retention guidelines apply:
- Scan history and saved coins: Retained for as long as your account remains active
- Account data (sign-in identifiers): Retained until you disconnect your account and request deletion
- Log and analytics data: Typically retained for up to 12 months in aggregated or anonymized form
- Support correspondence: Retained for up to 24 months for service improvement purposes
When data is no longer required, we will securely delete or anonymize it.
7. Account Disconnection and Data Deletion
CoinHix does not use an independent account system. Access is provided through Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. You may disconnect your account and request full deletion of your associated data at any time using either of the following methods:
- In-App: Navigate to Settings → Account → Disconnect & Delete Data
- By Email: Contact us at [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
Upon receiving your request, all personal data associated with your account will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.
If you signed in with Apple, you may also manage or revoke CoinHix's access to your Apple ID at any time via: iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Password & Security → Apps Using Apple ID.
If you signed in with Google, you may revoke access via: Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access.
8. How to Revoke Consent and Manage Permissions
You may withdraw consent for specific data collection at any time:
- Camera Access: Revoke via your device Settings → Privacy → Camera → CoinHix
- Photo Library Access: Revoke via your device Settings → Privacy → Photos → CoinHix
- Marketing Emails: Unsubscribe via the link in any email we send, or contact [email protected]
- Push Notifications: Manage via your device Settings → Notifications → CoinHix
Please note that revoking certain permissions (such as camera access) will limit or prevent the core functionality of the App.
9. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. Your scan history and account data are stored on secure cloud servers with appropriate encryption and access controls.
However, no method of data transmission or storage over the internet is entirely secure. While we take all reasonable steps to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal obligations

If you are accessing the Services from outside Singapore, please be aware that your data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions where data protection laws may differ. 15. App Store Specific Privacy Information
15.1 Apple App Store
In accordance with Apple's App Store privacy requirements:
- CoinHix uses your camera and photo library solely for coin scanning, identification, valuation, and grading — this is the App's primary and only use of these permissions
- We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies
- We do not use your data for advertising purposes
- Sign in with Apple is the only Apple-connected authentication method we use
- You may disconnect your Apple account and request data deletion at any time (see Section 7)
- Data collected through the App is never sold to third parties
15.2 Google Play Store
In accordance with Google Play's Data Safety requirements:
- We collect device information and usage data to improve App performance and user experience
- Photo and video permissions are accessed only for the App's core coin scanning functionality, in compliance with Google Play's Photo and Video Permissions policy
- All personal data is processed and stored securely
- You may disconnect your Google account and request deletion of your data through the App settings or by contacting us at [email protected] (see Section 7)
16. Third-Party Links and Services
Our Website and App may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with external services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party platforms, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through our Services.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements.
